DITCH THE PACKAGE. Did you know, only 9% of plastic is actually recycled? Thats what makes buying in Bulk so appealing (Bulk foods are going mainstream). Studies have found buying from "the bulk" bins saved shoppers an average of 89% over packaged varieties. Another advantage is you can use it to try different items and not end up with a pantry full of unused food, cleaners, and other ingredients that you may never use (which end up taking valuable real estate (space) in your space (shelves, cabinets, closets, storage bins and on and on). On your trek to wasting less, you'll find that exploring and finding local shops in your area can be fun and using (or reusing) containers can stimulate your creativity.
